I brought my car in for an oil change somewhere else and unbeknownst to me with a smoking positive terminal to my battery. I called 2 guys and they were thankfully able to get me in to fix it. It was the end of their long day and even when it turned out to be a little more than anticipated they all remained positive and lighthearted. I would trust them for anything in the future. Yes, the price was great but nothing beats kind, honest, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you guy's so very much and it was a pleasure to meet each of you.

Common questions and tips from our work with Friendship customers.
- What type of oil does my car need?
- Your owner's manual lists the viscosity, such as 0W-20 or 5W-30, and whether the engine needs synthetic. Using the right grade matters more than the brand, and many newer engines are built for full synthetic. If you are not sure, call with your year, make and model and we will tell you what it takes.
- What does the oil light on my dash mean?
- A red oil can icon means low oil pressure. Pull over, shut the engine off and check the dipstick, because driving on low pressure can ruin an engine. An amber maintenance reminder is different: it just means a service is due based on mileage or the oil life monitor.
Tip
Check your dipstick between oil changes
Park on level ground, wait a few minutes after shutting the engine off, then pull the dipstick, wipe it, reinsert it and pull it again. The level should sit between the two marks. Oil that looks gritty or milky, or a level that keeps dropping between changes, is worth a call.
